Job Summary :The Senior Business Analyst is the liaison between colleagues with business needs and the technical team members who are responsible for creating solutions to meet those needs. This position reports to the VP, of Advocacy Process and Operations, and works with individuals across Sharecare's business and client portfolio to analyze and re-engineer complex processes, develop and document requirements and process flows, implement total solutions and be a role model for effective communication and facilitation. This individual's responsibilities include participating in a variety of highly visible cross-functional project teams, meeting with relevant stakeholders, analyzing information, collaborating to capture business documentation that clearly articulates objectives in formats that are useful to business area experts and technical colleagues, leading the design of new and/or reengineered processes and providing expertise in corporately adopted standards and tools. By participating in process and system reengineering, the Senior Business Analyst will improve the reliability and credibility of Sharecare's processes and solutions.   The Senior Business Analyst designs and rearticulates complex Advocacy solutions. The ideal candidate will have all the requisite experience to manage these responsibilities, five plus years of experience as a Business Analyst, and a minimum of five years of technical and operational programming experience.  The ideal candidate will also have the ability to project manage multiple high-visibility projects concurrently and will have the ability to develop and articulate written business definitions and documents.

Essential Job Functions :* Conduct research to develop a thorough understanding of identified business needs. * Act as the lead agency to coordinate full project discovery that includes interviewing relevant stakeholders and end-users* Facilitate meetings with stakeholders and end-users as a change agent to remove roadblocks and gain agreement. * Analyze business processes, tools and data while applying critical thinking to realize most appropriate resolution. * Identify and lead project team members to consensus on project scope. * Collaborate with project team members in providing recommendations related to the most effective, highest quality, most appropriate solution; utilize conflict management skills in negotiating agreements among all parties. * Demonstrate superb decision-making skills by engaging experts while determining alternatives. * Document requirements and specifications relating to recommended solutions. * Support the creation of Project Charters and provide associated estimates. * Generate meeting agendas, minutes and action plans as appropriate. * Generate documentation that clearly articulates the objectives, scope and requirements to all relevant colleagues. * Utilize corporate standards and tools to capture business requirements, functional and non-functional requirements, use cases, process flows and activity diagrams; train, lead and mentor others in completion of these tasks. * Plan an approach for documenting, categorizing, and packaging requirements that satisfies all parties. * Design and support staffing of large initiatives requiring these skills. * Verify business and functional requirements are traceable to solution specifications. * Verify business and functional requirements are testable; generate testing objectives. * Generate detailed user requirements supported by narratives, work catalog summary, use cases/diagrams & business modeling. * If there is in whole or in part a process solution, generate detailed process flows. * Communicate assimilated requirements and specifications in standard formats that are useful to business area experts and technical colleagues. * Lead the effort with stakeholders to design new or reengineer existing business processes to effect solutions. * Utilize process analysis/design expertise to design new or reengineer existing processes to implement new or changed procedures, eliminate duplicate effort, reduce errors and increase efficiency and effectiveness; ensure seamless integration. * Collaborate with project team members to identify problems and opportunities within existing processes. * Oversee documentation, user training, and implementation of new processes. * Identify future process improvement initiatives where applicable and assist in the prioritization of those initiatives by quantifying needs and benefits. * Manage multiple highly visible projects within agreed-upon work allocations. * Generate and manage child project plans that relate to assigned projects. * Generate routine project status reports in the form and at times requested by management.
