Job Summary:

The Inventory Coordinator will provide inventory duties for colleague and contractor computer equipment and the company's data center equipment. This individual will be responsible for the proper accounting of corporate assets, shipping equipment to appropriate locations and updating inventory locations in the Kace system. The coordinator will be responsible for obtaining returned assets and the tracking and checking in process for those assets.

Essential Functions:

  • Will be the primary intake for all assets, will check them in and image those assets

  • The Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for tracking returned assets by reviewing the colleague exit tracking system and relaying that to the appropriate onsite staff

  • Will work with onsite staff to ensure they have available assets at each location and keep inventory levels current

  • Responsible for the updating of assets in the Kace inventory system and ensure that the status, location, and assigned colleague locations are current

  • Maintain efficient shipping costs by planning the timely arrival of needed equipment

  • Will work with manager to keep up with hiring demands to ensure stock is always available

  • Will keep up on older assets that need to be recycled or disposed of

  • Specialist will ensue devices are updated and applicable patches are installed prior to deployment.

  • Assist helpdesk Team members with critical issues surrounding deployment and break fix issues within inventory

  • Working with the Kace reporting tool to facilitate streamlining inventory related projects
