Blue Zones Project is looking for a Senior Trainer to meet the learning and development needs of colleagues across the Blue Zones Project team using blended learning, classroom learning and virtual learning delivery modalities. With the support and guidance from the Senior Training Manager, the Sr. Trainer is responsible for the assisting with the development, coordination, delivery and evaluation of training activities across Blue Zones Project. This individual will collaborate with colleagues at all levels and multiple disciplines across the organization, as well as community team members and stakeholders in Blue Zones Project communities and employer sites. This role will focus specifically on training to support the roll out and implementation of Blue Zones Project initiatives across the Adventist Health System service area and employee well-being program.
Conducts training and educational programs, on-the-job training, and new colleague orientation
Maintains records for training programs, including materials, evaluations, employee participation and Learning Management System records
Encourages active participation and builds learner motivation during trainings
Supports operations leaders and local teams with project launch, committee and volunteer training, and other needs
Facilitate train-the-trainer workshops for engagement programs and other leadership or organization development workshops related to community and employer initiatives
Exercises initiative in carrying out training activities that support and enhance colleague skills and project goals
Gathers, analyzes and makes recommendation for training needs
Assists in evaluating external training programs and materials
Assists with testing, revisions and enhancements to existing training, as well as new training development
Identify/utilize outside vendors for instruction or training support
Coordinate/monitor learner enrollment, schedules, and cost
