Job Summary:The Jr. QA Analyst is responsible for conducting, reviewing, and continuously improving testing for new software releases, primarily focused on web-based platforms, though non-web platforms may be included at times. Testing may include system, integration, functional, usability, regression and acceptance, working in conjunction with product managers, business analysts, project managers, developers and IT resources. Testing may include a combination of scripted and manual efforts, with an emphasis on automating or augmenting as much of the testing as possible.

Essential Functions:* Work collaboratively and iteratively with developers, product managers and end users to fully understand testing requirements* Create new automated or augmented testing scripts and procedures* Update and manage existing scripts and procedures as platform(s) change* Document purpose, expected outcomes, troubleshooting methods, etc. of scripts and procedures* Coordinate and conduct testing activities* Document and track bugs, issues, and problems, as well as system performance, discovered through testing activities* Facilitate review of complex production issues and root-cause analyses* Standardize testing tools, procedures and scripts across all environments and teams* Proactively identify future testing needs and guide overall testing strategy* Other duties as assigned
