Job Summary:

The Organization Lead is responsible for the successful advancement of Blue Zones Project through engaging worksites and schools, and may also assist with other organizations as part of a broader cross-sector well-being team. Success is achieved when organizations adopt the recommended changes to improve employee well-being and create workplace environments that make healthy choices easy. These efforts will contribute to overall community well-being improvement goals and earning recognition as a Certified Blue Zones Community. Through high touch, in-person client management this role interacts with and supports the adoption of best practices to create sustainable well-being.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop strong relationships with target organizations to encourage their participation and support them in becoming a Blue Zones Project Approved Organization

  • Drive comprehensive adoption and advancement of the Blue Zones Project community blueprint (strategic plan) within the local community to transform well-being in worksites and schools

  • Actively work with the local Blue Zones Project leadership team and maintain momentum and advancement of the assigned group's strategic plans within the community

  • Ensure coordination and integration of the organizational strategies and cross-sector initiatives to drive maximum exposure and impact

  • Actively collaborate with the local and central Blue Zones Project team and maintain momentum and advancement of the assigned group's strategic plans within the community

  • Develop and meet monthly targets to achieve annual progress goals

  • Support engagement activities at approved organizations to ensure sustainable outcomes

  • Compile organization performance/value measures, outcomes and community impact stories

Specific Skills:

  • Strong self-starter and team leader, specifically in partnership contexts where the team is not comprised of direct reports

  • Adept at working with all levels of organizations to secure ongoing participation and utilization of the appropriate tools and resources

  • Compelling written/oral communication skills as it relates to driving initiatives within organizations

  • Effectively handle multiple competing priorities in an ever changing environment

  • Public speaking experience varying from small to medium size groups

  • Ability to build positive working relationships with key partners

  • Demonstrated awareness of equity, inclusion and diversity issues and best practices as related to organizational engagement

  • Ability to represent Sharecare and Blue Zones Project with partners, the public, and media

  • Strong project management skills to ensure initiative strategies stay on track and within budget

  • Knowledgeable and connected in the local business community

  • Inspiring, influencing, collaborative, and responsible

  • Energized by Blue Zones Project mission

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (business, education or related field).

  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

  • Passion for community partners success

  • Demonstrated awareness of inclusion and diversity issues and best practices as related to organizational engagement

  • Experience in building and managing diverse community partnerships 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, business development, and market strategy experience required.

  • Human Resources/Benefits/Employee Wellness experience a plus.

  • COVID-19 vaccination.

Salary:

  • $79,000 - $84,000 based on experience
